Sweet! Nice job! Now you can change a few lines here and there, and check out what happens. This is where the real fun is..

I'm bumping this because I seem to have similar problems trying to compile on ARM Linux.

Who is this mysterious figure Nitrogenetics and how did you get it to compile in the end?

This is my thread, I'm stuck at

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lboost_regex

collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

I'm not using mingw obviously, but these issues seem very similar

looks like you got it with the install boost-dev-all lib.

Thanks. Unfortunately I was only capable of compiling the hobonicleksld daemon, no luck with the GUI version. Do I correctly assume that to compile the gui I have to run "make" without specifying the unix makefile?

This is the error I am getting when trying to compile using "make". It might have to do something with commenting out the sse line as recommended in the raspberry pi guide.

scrypt_mine.cpp:(.text+0x4e): undefined reference to `scrypt_core'

CPU 25%

MEM 25%

Hey if you don't mind, could you put a quick list of the different things you had to do to get the daemon and the gui compiled and up and running. Like what changes to the make files or adding or subtracting code?

I'd like to make some of those changes to github for the next user..

Thanks.

Hello Tranz. Sure, here you go. In fact it was almost the same as the Raspberry guide you provided :)

Daemon compilation:

qmake
removed -msse2 from makefile.unix
removed #include <xmmintrin.h> from scrypt_mine.cpp
make -f makefile.unix
strip --strip-unneeded hobonickeld

Qt GUI compilation:

qmake

removed -msse2 from Makefile

removed #include <xmmintrin.h> from scrypt_mine.cpp

added src/scrypt-arm.S to SOURCES in HoboNickels-qt.pro

make
makestrip --strip-unneeded HoboNickels-qt

I am not sure if the qmake is important in daemon compilation, but I bet you know
