[ANN] LitecoinPLus wallet update - PoW added

Recommended Posts

LitecoinPlus - Genesis date: May, 11 2014

It's began as Scrypt PoS 221,400 coins and 15% Annual Stake!

It's been updated to Scrypt Hybrid PoW/PoS

Proof of Work was added back in with a block reward starting at 2 LCP and reducing by .25 LCP every 200,000 blocks until it reaches .25 LCP then it will remain at .25 LCP

LitecoinPlus is the silver to Bitcoinplus's gold. Due to the low coin supply, both coins would be considered crypto commodities and are a valuable storage for wealth. LitecoinPlus has four times the supply of BitcoinPlus with faster transactions. In comparison to Litecoin, LitecoinPlus uses an advanced green algorithm called Proof of Stake which is not computing intensive. This will ensure LitecoinPlus's future as a powerful next generation commodity.

  •    Algo: Scrypt Proof of Stake
  •    Transaction time: 30 seconds
  •    Supply: 4,000,000 coins
  •    RPC Port:  44350
  •    P2P Port:  44351
  •    Interest rate (15% annually)
  •    Minimum age (6 hours)
  •    Maximum age (30 days)

I can't keep up with you guys any more - you just have too much hash for me.
I've turned fees back on ( I had them off when small time miners were working)

I've also adjusted the variable work difficulty up a bit to slow down the network traffic.
You will still be finding the same number of blocks, it just skips the smaller 'answers' for your work.

*your miners try to figure an answer for the block - the small answers are skipped -
the higher the difficulty - the harder the 'question' is, and the 'bigger' the answer is.
very simplistic explanation - I hope it makes sense  :)

p.s. I do want to thank the miners who volunteered to make donations it is appreciated!
