I cant get Gridcoin Research to open.

Recommended Posts

Me too. I have GridcoinResearch installed, and every time I start it the splash screen appears just long enough to see that my blockchain snapshot is loaded, then it just crashes. I read somewhere that gridcoinresearch wallet is a memory hog when it first starts up and will sometimes crash if boinc is running already. Shutdown boinc, and re-try starting gridcoinresearch first. That worked for me for a little while, but now I have a different issue...here is the error message I get when trying to start gridcoinreearch:

glen@L7:/usr/bin$ ./gridcoinresearch

(gridcoinresearch:3644): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "equinox",
"sni-qt/3644" WARN  14:22:22.683 void StatusNotifierItemFactory::connectToSnw() Invalid interface to SNW_SERVICE
QGradient::setColorAt: Color position must be specified in the range 0 to 1
gridcoinresearch: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :0.0.

Can anybody decipher this code it's gobbledygook to me?

I'm using Bodhi Linux, which is based on Ubuntu, which I'm loving by the way.

Thanks,   DrSluice
