May I ask one more question?

Why does collatz conjecture still getting CPU tasks despite the fact that I checked No CPU checkbox for this project in my profile on the http://pool.gridcoin.co/ website?

Have you tried to login here and change it at their project website?

Just login to your account and there should be an option in there.

This worked for the computer where collatz has not been set by the pool's account manager.

It is strange that on the second computer it didn't work - I keep getting cpu tasks.

Try syncing / updating this project in the boinc manager

I have restarted the boinc manager, here is a line from the log:

3/11/2016 8:52:44 AM |  | General prefs: from http://bam.boincstats.com/ (last modified 03-Mar-2016 22:21:31)

I believe there should be GridCoin.co instead of bam.boincstats.com

For example in the Tools menu I can see 'Synchronize with GridCoin.co pool' menu item.

Why does it show GridCoin.co as my account manager but keeps getting preferences from the bam.boincstats.com manager?

Hello, I'm attempting to use a headless version of linux (no GUI). So, I've installed boinc and then I run the following command to try and connect to the pool:

boinccmd --join_acct_mgr http://pool.gridcoin.co MyEmail myPassword

And I get the following response:

Authorization failure: -155

I've tried using my username instead of the email and I get the same result. Any ideas? Keep up the good work :)

Hello Katie I'm a noob at this Gridcoin thing but not so much to bitcoin generally .

I have a question . I have downloaded the wallet , sync'd it , added my Email but I don't have any coin and have been trying to figure out how to mine for some so I will have coin for proof of stake

I left a message on twitter whom sent me here .

I followed the instructions to a link at gridcoin pool on how to mine from the link sent to me on twitter .

However I get a error saying no user so I'm wondering if I have to actually be a member of BAM to get it to work as once I put the gridcoin link into the Bionic account maneger I get the no user message .

You would think I was already a member of BAM after 16 years doing Bionic :) any help most appreciated .

I already mine crypto and donate it to SETI@HOME and do have a Antiminer and now I have some Gridseed miners so not so much of a noob just would like to get the gridcoin to work as well , it all helps hehehehe

I was just wondering how long does it take after joining the pool to get a payment?

I have 3 computers connected to the pool since 3/7/16 running seti, wuprop and GF and have not recived a payment.

Is this normal?

Everything looks good in my profile.

Remove any projects from BOINC that you intend to research for the pool.

I still have those 3 projects in my BOINC client.

Is that the problem?

Do I need to remove these projects from Team Gridcoin?

Here are the message's in my BOINC client:

Gary,

You are running BOINC projects for yourself and for the Pool. Do either, but not both. If you want to run for the pool, you should detach all projects running for your own account.

I finally got it set up and on the pool with 2 of my 3 computers and have a few projects on the pool and 1 project with Team Gridcoin.

Hi,

I joined the pool yesterday having started solo (was crunching and wallet up and running for about a week). Today I had to restart my wallet. The wallet shows CPID is INVESTOR, and the debug log shows primary CPID is corrupted:

03/17/2016 04:56:27 Starting CPID thread...0.000000Primary cpid corrupted 204d178f9b6d4de25297c99fed0ed860
03/17/2016 04:56:27 Primary cpid corrupted 204d178f9b6d4de25297c99fed0ed860
03/17/2016 04:56:27 Primary cpid corrupted 204d178f9b6d4de25297c99fed0ed860

I searched this thread and found nothing. Search more broadly and tried executing resetcpids, but that did not change anything.

Anyone encounter this or have guidance?

Thanks
