Rob would it be possible to get correct interpunction in getmininginfo and getstakinginfo, especially when it comes to weights, but also to the interest rate? I have made that obvious what I mean

Rob,

Just checking. How often does the coin check for valid cpid? I ask because I woke up and coin was still in investor mode. I had to execute resetcpids before it shows my cpid in overview.

Interesting; it looks like we used to do it once every 480 mins; but now only when the wallet starts.

couldnt help asking you guys this... according to my rsa, im still newbie, right? take a look:

"CPID Lifetime Research Paid" : 0.00000000,

inspite of that, since im at 2,3k<:>mag 35 currently, by the time (around xmas) this new system is implemented (as sEp told us via IRC) - will I receive the PoR proportionally ?

Your a newbie; but due to the conference on the marathon thread the rules changed - so we have to re-test with this brand new rule.

Now new users will get paid for work since the beacon was sent, YES!  :)

Ahhhhh!!! Arg!

It looks like we didnt have 20,000 blocks between Nov 14th and Dec 4th, (I made the grandfather 86000 in this version based on math between the dates).

Oh well, this version is OK to test tonight as it wont be a total waste to know the feature works.

But whatever we do tomorrow, we will need to re-test this new rule again with the grandfather set Back to where it should be to ensure checkblocks do not fail....

News here

After waking up, no changes on both machines:
( on the 2nd machine: 2 virgin wallets, no results from command list cpid (no projects listet - there should be 3) - testnetwallet charged with 1K GRC)

1st machine:

After upgrading on  3.4.5.6b I found a smart install wizzard that told me the config is empty (I looked: indeed the config became .conf.bak extensions) then the wizzard asked me for the e-mail adress and then toldme that there is a different boincdatadir (as  the default?) after entering the new one - the wallet started smoothly. (But this worked for testnetwallet only!)

2nd machine:
After upgrading no changes.
But then happend a windows 10 update (forced by microsoft!, a few minutes before i have to leave my home!!!).
After the restarts a new picture:
Both virgin wallets became an INVESTOR, and look the testnetwallet with the lost 500K GRC is back and shows me a golden 59 GRC PoR (this was the virgin testnetwallet!).

time and connections:
both testnetwallets: 68839 blocks, 1 connection
both prodnetwallets: 403242 blocks, 8 connections

LOL

I think I'll wait for the next release to start with the 3rd virgin cpid..... lol.. my 2nd cpid is kinda lost and timestamp off due to beacon and previous tx being sent in the fork. In the meantime, I'll start a new wallet and resend in 100 coins and send out the beacon again for the 2nd cpid.

Current status:

4 testnet wallets on win7. 1 investor, 3 virgin CPIDs.

1. CPID, 09d1b.....

balance: 10.5 GRC

beacon sent manually

magnitude in NN 12.5

magnitude in wallet 0 -> I tried execute syncdpor2 and rebooting several times. No joy, it stays 0. DPOR weight: 0 after upgrade+reboot, before it was 10. Maybe the beacon was sent before we rolled back to 66000 but as long as I am in NN I suppose its irrelevant.

Since users get paid for work since the beacon & no longer require staking a first block before entering the RA system, is the newbie stake weight boost still neccessary?

edit: also pm'd you rob!

Thanks, but I didn't receive it, for some reason! I've double checked the receiving address and that I'm definitely looking at testnet rather than production. My client is continuing to synchronise, and I'm now on block 69716.

What is your current version? The latest version is 3.5.4.6. If you're not on that version, chances are you are on a fork.
