I am disappointed the other wallet did not work, and I do not know that the last person I paid will come through with the work. They don't talk to me.   So, I will offer another bounty, 2000 PR, for a working PR Windows wallet.

Must install/uninstall

discover and connect to nodes

sync the entire block chain

be virus free

from a dev who is reasonably trusted

PR has community, traders, an exchange, pools. It's all there. Now it needs a working Windows wallet and a dev to look over it.

Good luck, Pawel. That will nice to have the wallet fixed.

The blockchain broke free from highdiff today and is moving again.

I have found a hack to get my PR wallet working.

To recap:
I deleted the PR chain in Windows
I started the Unobtanium Bluechist wallet in -testnet mode and synced
I closed UNO Bluechist wallet
I started the PR wallet, and now it is working.

It has to be some kind of checkpoint issue.  I don't know when the next checkpoint is, but I expect the PR wallet will lock when it hits that checkpoint, and then I will have to redo those steps.

A message cross posted from the other place, writen by the legendary BitcoinFx:

Checked getpeerinfo for the three main nodes.

After syncing the Pr (Unobtanium testnet) wallet - which appears to only find 3 connections - I re-tested the v0.10.1.12-retrograde windows release, which seems to be functioning OK.

As above, it is probably advisable to install / run Pr from the Unobtanium (testnet3) --testnet folder / location. So, that the UNO --testnet wallet can be used to re-sync if necessary. Then try running the v0.10.1.12-retrograde windows release, for improved connectivity.

Recommended addnodes currently are;

45.32.244.201:65525
45.32.32.237:65525
69.28.82.86:65525
73.9.181.217:18011
46.105.39.103:65525

Three are my linux nodes, plus the wmikrut pool node and a node on ovh france - which appears to be stable.

I received the new PR Windows wallet the other day from a dev I met recently. He agreed to work on it for the bounty that myself and Edgar offered earlier.

I had good luck with it and I a couple other people I sent it to say it works.

If you want to help test it, I'd appreciate the feedback.
I suggest installing on a Windows VM at first, just as a normal precaution and best practice in the crypto curency world.

It passes virustotal scan, for whatever that's worth.

Let me know what you think.

Heck, Spaceminer. I haven't logged in here for ages.

Here's the nitty gritty: as I understand it, Prototanium is defunct, though there may be vestigial micro-trading on Cryptopia. The point, though, is that Proto was a testnet of Unobtanium. If you want a (working) rare crypto, Unobtanium is it.

Here's the Uno community's main thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527500.13700

Here's a little P2P exchange that I manage: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1579087.200

If you turn up on the P2P exchange with an Uno address (and questions about Uno's history, present state, and prospects), I'll give you a coupla Uno to get started (and it trades on Cryptopia).

I have not paid much attention to UNO's lil' sister lately.

There is still an explorer at cryptobe.com

PR is still traded at Cryptopia.co.nz

WMIKrut.com still has an awesome mining pool for PR

The present block reward for PR is 0.0625

Personally, I'd take the mining power and merge mine UNO/BTC at zpool.ca or multipool.us

I haven't done the math yet today, but I don't see how mining PR right now is profitable.  You'd likely be better off just buying PR on Cryptopia than trying to mine it.   But if you're just wanting to mine because its fun to mine, then PR is as good a Sha256 coin as any.
