MASHABLE / Dyson's zero-maintenance Cinetic vacuum sucks — in the right way

First, vacuums ditched the bag. Now Dyson claims it's perfected the next big evolution of the vacuum cleaner.

Nothing inside the new high-end Dyson Cinetic Big Ball ever needs maintenance or replacement, said Rob Green, Dyson's senior design engineer for the vacuum.

"There's basically no maintenance or service aspect," Green told Mashable. "All you have to do is empty the bin."

Before now, Dyson's vacuums included a filter that was used to single out super-fine particles, like dust or pollen that could mess up a vacuum's suction.
