Good work!

Currently the no1 cryptocoin icon in my opinion.

I'm pretty close to finishing the the new reddit design. I used the winning logo. But I've also chosen a mascot "Long Live the Hobo" hopefully you like it.

The source images for the reddit are here and linked in the reddit wiki, so hopefully others can be inspired.

I really need this mascot with the words "Long Live the Hobo" around it. The current logo seems a bit complex to me.

Another idea is to use the words "Chilled Out Hobo" or "Chilled Hobo" and kicking their feet up in a swimming pool.

the other graphic is the cigar boss that I use in reddit upvotes

Hey adria33. Thanks so much!

Few things here though.

Please don't link to image other peoples images in the reddit page, unless you have their permission. Its OK to use use main HBN icon obviously, but other coins shouldn't be used unless they say it is OK.

I'm sure you could pick some from http://www.IRLab.com/hobo, as he is the official icon, but he should probably approve it anyway

Also, no problem have some fun, but I'd like to keep respectful at the same time. I do have plans to for this to be a charity coin, so I don't want to offend any potential clients.

Again, I do appreciate the help!

I think they might be in the public domain.

I think they might be in the public domain.

Perhaps, I'm not sure,  At the very least if someone does ask to have them removed, we should respect their wishes.

Few things I also noticed, You have coinex listed twice, might want to change one to Cryptsy.

Feel free to use the refid from hobonickels.info, Or if you want you can use your own, since you started the page.

https://www.cryptsy.com/users/register?refid=17373

Finally the bitcointalk page should be here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303749.0

Thanks!

Maybe, but I doubt they'll ask them to be removed, it'll likely increase the coins' value.

I can tell you those aren't in the public domain.  Those are actual nickels carved by hobo nickel carver, Amy Armstrong.

I would advise against using those images until you have her permission.

This is what started the original search for a new hobonickels coin icon.

ok, they're not even genuine ones from the 1920s. Thanks for telling me.

Still, if you want to use them, it wouldn't hurt to contact her.  Some artists are more than happy to have their work displayed while others like to maintain control over where their images end up.

It never hurts to ask.
