Notably please read these lines:

* For version 7 blocks, 1 GRC and 0 Mag equals to 800 of weight.

* For version **8** blocks 1 GRC equals to 80 of weight.

* `netstakeweight`; GRC natural;
Estimated weight of the network.

I wouldn't make any conclusions based on this value.

your right its not an actual figure more of a estimate then anything. and the weight being 80 versus 800 affects that value as well

5 new polls are up:

  • 3 whitelist polls (climateprediction, drugdiscovery + xansons)
  • Should Gridcoin implement fixed POS block rewards?
  • What is your favourite communication platform?

check in your wallet, or read here with further infos (e.g. when/why was the poll declined last time? ...)

Am I missing something?  We're voting (and carrying the vote, I might add) to add climateprediction and they don't have any work, so our mag gets divided by another project that we can't work on.   Hinky.

To clarify, I'm looking at boincstats last 40 and it's all zeros.

@user3928 Rumor has it that climateprediction will not be online until September 29th. If this is true then until then there will be no way to judge how much work they'll be able to offer until after that date.

Got it.  So am I out of touch on asking why we are adding a project that currently has no work?  I'm not the brightest bulb in the four pack so maybe I'm missing something...

@user3928 No. It's one of the most relevant questions you could ask as far as I understand. @ZenMercenary is the one who says that it'll only be going live on the 29th and, due to this same concern you have, he's abstained in his vote.

Thank you for your work. I have a question; when will the new logo be added to the wallet?

I don't think this is a priority at the moment. Developers are working hard (thank you, devs!) in other more pressing areas right now. Aesthetics will come as time permits I'm sure. I'm just as excited for the new logo though!

For everyone on Windows that have problems with unstable wallet, solve our your problems with application name RestartOnCrash. It monitors exe file, and if it is crashed it check again, and restart process.

Ultra easy setup, 100 % working :)

I was having issues with my wallet locking up or crashing regularly for quite some time on Windows 10 Pro x64.  It turned out that I was trying to broadcast a new beacon and it was failing to do so.  Once I ran my wallet FULLY unlocked for over 14 hours it sent a beacon and I've been back to running Unlocked for Staking only without any issues now for many days.  I still have not staked or received a payout since well before the v8 block.  I upgraded to the latest version last night.  I'll update if I encounter any further issues.

[edit] Wallet runs 24/7
