My production client currently has duplicate projects for DDM, neither of which is valid as of the superblock an hour or two ago.  I think this may be related to the project's webserver having been slow.  I was in team Gridcoin, and received rewards before I had a CPID switch around Thursday; my other projects are working fine.

From "list cpids":

{

"Project" : "distributed data mining",

"CPID" : "b030ad234200af452729cce82d2e61f3",

"RAC" : 113.00000000,

"Team" : "",

"Is my CPID Valid?" : false,

"CPID Link" : "",

"Errors" : ""

},

{

"Project" : "distributeddatamining",

"CPID" : "b030ad234200af452729cce82d2e61f3",

"RAC" : 118.00000000,

"Team" : "gridcoin",

"Is my CPID Valid?" : false,

"CPID Link" : "http://boinc.netsoft-online.com/get_user.php?cpid=b030ad234200af452729cce82d2e61f3",

"Errors" : "Verified RAC too low"

},

In the NN the ddm with the spaces is the only one whitelisted; drilling into your cpid in the NN shows 59.9 mag for that entry;

Hmm, dont see the one without the spaces in the project list or in mappings.

Its not in 'list network' either.

Im not even sure how your client picked this up; its not listed that way in the CPID link above either.

Try 'execute resetcpids' and see if it dissapears on the 2nd entry?

Your mag looks good though - its only counted once.

Rob

Rob, thanks for the rapid reply and for all your work.

I tried resetcpids, which didn't work.  I also tried changing over to a fairly old wallet backup, redownloading the block chain, resetting the project, and then starting my wallet.  So far I'm not synced, but I still have two projects listed.

Honestly, this mostly annoys me because it's preventing me from mining on DDM.

Weirdly, the project IS there, WITH spaces, in "list explainmagnitude":

"list cpids" gives the same behavior:

resetcpids *while the project was removed* removed the one without spaces (and not with), but when I ran it again after re-adding BAM (and thus joining the DDM project), it ended up listing both again.

I removed all projects, reset cpids, sync with BAM, duplicate DDM projects came back.

Ended up just 0-sharing it for now.  Incidentally, when I tried to abort my DDM work, the scheduler request failed with "bad gateway".  I'm suspecting that server stability on the project's end, maybe along with me being throttled for aggressively attempting to fix this, could be a factor.

Maintainance on CCEX. I believe they had some transaction problems (I had those messages a few times now: 79000.00000001 GRC instant withdrawal failed. GRC wallet failed to create transaction and Your withdrawal queued. It will be processed manually and Your history will be updated with valid transaction ID.)

Probably they will approach you Rob

Bittrex had some problems too..

Yeah, there Blockchain is stuck. Totally different issue. I replied to CM telling them to try an upgrade (about 8 posts ago).
Rob Richie is still having some problems, I asked him to send you an email, thanks

From BCT, I said we are having some TX problems

Hi, I've got a couple transactions that have been stuck at Unconfirmed for about 12 hours now.  My client is up-to-date, (as of yesterday),
I've "Downloaded Blocks", any other ideas to get them confirmed?  I have 23 active connections to the network.  The txids are
d17817deefad1af0380b5a73255222bf52c96a38239ca2c9086bbe48b573a38e-001 and d17817deefad1af0380b5a73255222bf52c96a38239ca2c9086bbe48b573a38e-000,
if anyone who knows more wants to check them out.

Thanks in advance!

I noted a few days ago I was having similar problems on C-CEX, repeated failures to transfer into my mining wallet, I would say about 50% success rate.

My exchange balance is now stuck in 'Maintenance'.

Thanks - yeah he is trying to send out 2 transactions and they wont go.  I replied to him this morning with 'resendtx' and some info I have in the external node.  Hopefully they go without having to restore from a wallet backup.

This was my problem, posted it originally on BTCTalk.  It is still my problem, is anything being done to address missing transactions?

I did a test withdrawal at Bittrex, 27 GRD, went through without a problem, so then I withdrew ~450 GRD, and they still haven't

shown up.  This makes me sad.  Is their wallet not up-to-date or something?

Bittrex had a problem with thier wallet, Rob is working with them to get it resolved, your transaction is likely part of that resolution. Also, just to be sure, you mean GRC not GRD correct?

Yes, GRC.  Thanks for letting me know, I'll shoot Bittrex a support ticket so they're

aware that it didn't work.

Cheers!

Idea:

What if Gridcoin had a type of "yahoo answers" built into the wallet where people can ask questions and offer a reward in Grc to the best answer?

People with expertise in certain topics can then earn Grc.

We can have a decentralized information economy and this would give an incentive for people to actually use Gridcoin as a currency.

With the smart contracts that should not be too difficult, right?

Should be a separate service, not part of the wallet IMO.

I' ve got the same message too.

First I thought it's because of different versions (my version was: v3.4.8.7-g-research; their version was: v3.4.6.0-g-research) then thought I failed because my wallet was not unlocked for the withdraw (for income).

Now I' ve  the GRC amount back in my balance but can't withdrawel because of maintenace

dreibo

Edit:

This morning I received the ticket message: "Wallet is fixed and open now."

And I tried to transfer the GRC again. After the email confirmation my GRC amount disappeared from my exchange balance. But it was not transferred. In my C-CEX History is no payout and no TXID.

Am looking forward to the next ticket - response.

This is never happened to me. I just encrypted my wallet. Can that be a reason?

I dont think its your encrypted wallet, I have been encrypted for a while and have had some transfers work and some fail from C-CEX.  I just transferred out of C-CEX and it seems to have worked OK this time.

CCEX was having an issue where a certain RPC command was failing for them every time.  Yuri rebuilt his wallet.dat this morning, and I think that fixed the problem with the RPC command, because he has not contacted me back afterwards.  Hopefully the inability to send reliably is fixed now.  On a side note, the foundation uses the same command to send out newbie bonuses and has never failed.  During burning I think we send about 2000 tx.  They may have a very bloated wallet with too many address keys.  I mentioned that, but they always tell me its necessary.
