I don't know, how many others have same problems like me, but I'm only staking without Boinc-Reward because of a Error in Gridcoin. After CBR has been activated, there is no possibility I could get my reward, I have already earned since January, because CoinAge / Research Age will be removed. Will there be a fix soon before the update into CBR, so I will get a chance to get my already earned Boinc Reward?

Since January I have some Stakes, but they're diaappearing, without confirmation, forking. I think, because of the resolved fork problem, we cannot stake anymore - is that possible? Why are all my PoR stakes forking? Last week I was forking about 50 times without any stake at all and since January without any PoR-stakes. Since May I even don't get any PoS stake anymore.

Same with me...can't stake from March...

Wallet is up & running...it gets some 2-3 days before the staking should work...

Right now it has written that it's staking...but nothing for last 2 days!

I swear to God, sometimes I wish to get out of this "little project"...& go somewhere else, especially when there's alternative (like Byteball or others).

What's the link to your wallet?

@KLiK

There are no alternatives. Byteball does not use superblocks, a NN, and does not really hold the possibility of multiple projects with their current distribution method, which, as I understand it, is entirely centralized and does not involve the blockchain in any way.

Keep an eye out for future developments, like Manual Reward Claims, to solve the problems you are having!

MRC wouldn't need to be possible if the calcs were adjusted by formula:

coefficient of latest payoff date:  latestpayofday / 180

That way, the guys that didn't get paid of for a long time would get a chance from stakers who have more money on the account. But GRC accepted the path to value more "large capitalists in GRC" & to make GRCpools, then those who didn't get paid for a long time. Too sad, as it's the same path "banks & neo-capitalists go". ☹️

Something sounds really off as you should definitely have staked by now. What's the beacon _public_ key in your config so we can match that to the network.

KLiK, just a few observations, my opinion only:

You are obviously bright as well as knowledgable about cryptocurrencies.  You have raised some good issues in this forum.  But you've also done a lot of "whining".  I see many people trying to help you, and I see several posts from you where your frustration seems to have gotten the best of you.  Sometimes you talk like your own problems should obviously take top priority, and that Gridcoin management doesn't always make the same decisions that you would have made.  You have threatened to leave and "go somewhere else" hoping maybe that the top people here will give you more attention.  Or maybe you're just venting your frustration.  Either way it's not fair to the many people here who are only trying to help you.

Personally, I hope you don't leave because I think you have worthwhile observations to contribute.  But if you fell the need to complain, critisize, bitch, moan and whine, then you are disrespecting the community as a whole and eventually people will get tired of you.  You sound young, and being a bit "self-centered" as well as impatient is a recognized and accepted part of that.  But it's never too early to learn some humility.  Yes, you've had problems here.  But you've also had a lot of support by people who are also trying to help hundreds of other people.  If you really believe that the path GRC is sympathetic to the "wrong people" and "sad" then your only honorable choice is to "back off" and let the project somehow survive without your help.  It's always easier to throw rocks from the outside than to be in the center of the development trying to please everybody.  I think you already know that.

Well, I'm not a programmer...so some thing are just "too complicated here"...maybe it seems like "whining", but "GRC wiki" is poorly written...so have don't know how to get some answers...especially when my friend Google doesn't know it! LoL :D

Eventually I'll leave, as the alternative for going solo is to go to pools. Which is not a viable thing for me, as I like to "collect badges" on WCG, so have to micro-manage the projects on my profile - something that's not possible with going into pool!

Why?

Well, my machines get slower & slower, as more people pour in. So the magnitude goes down & eventually I'll cross below the magical number of 5 MAG... Unless I upgrade enough to keep on going.

Several times I've told group that they "favor the big accounts on GRC", but they probably don't care about that.

Several times I've told them to pay out backwards from 6th month forward & that could keep everyone happy. They ignored that also.

Don't know how is in companies that you work for, but in those that I work: workers have to get paid. Everything else is secondary!

& back to help out to development, as I'm not a programmer - can't help. My expertise is limited to suggestion which are proven in mathematics & physics. That's what I can do, that's what I do.

Use it or don't...I can always go cash-in all the GRC's...but seems like lately there had been problems also there...ups! ;)

@Marco Nilsson: thanks...will get you information when I get home.

Did you do this in my case, too? Would that help me in any way?

My Problem is as I'm still listed in beaconreport as "d92b9525a14df746f32ca1f14513ffc" : "S4ChkhqJHyrcbGSFUrC2YNz5GPLFVwLLfA" not as "cd92b9525a14df746f32ca1f14513ffc" : "S4ChkhqJHyrcbGSFUrC2YNz5GPLFVwLLfA", as the first character is missing.

As I know, there is a hotfix available. But when I'm trying to compile it on linux, the wallet says, for testnet-staking only.

Why is it taking so long, for that hotfix to work in the next release?
