The last SuperBlock showed 26 projects.

Leiden Classical is back in, didn't see a poll or anything.

Mistake ?

For anyone who suspects they may be on a fork:

Block: 1047019
Hash: 0419fe48a1b42259bc1923cee6cdf181303076442b5aaf948368f435b54057c0     Correct hash: 70668273faa546e6b16a05766bd4ab078f06b04cc9b3138ec1a91c401704aebc
Diff: 0.38630442

Use "getblockhash 1047019" (without quotes) in the console to compare your hash to this block.

EDIT: Original post had the hash of the block before. Edit to show correct hash. It's a bit late now though. Nevertheless, my apologies.

Me and others have another hash:

  • block #1047019 -> hash: 70668273faa546e6b16a05766bd4ab078f06b04cc9b3138ec1a91c401704aebc

What diff and net weight do you have currently?

From: Gridcoin fork situation: October 12

  • block 1047296 -> hash 6189825f2282ad5cf192f976225522bce6896056657b330935a5f99677ee1954 (0.77 difficulty; 4.935 million net weight)

Sadly, yesterday's fork overshadowed the 3-year anniversary of our Gridcoin block number 1 :-(

I was, and still am, on the same chain (see edit in my original post). I'm truly sorry for my error.

Did you have a huge magnitude increase in the current SuperBlock?

My magnitude jumped from 45-50 to 335. Not too sad about it ;)

Edit: I'm on the correct chain fwiw.

My Mag decreased in client from 95 to 75 and a day befor from 105 to 95. All the time NN show 95. I dont know what is right.

By that way, how often MAG become actualized in client, once a day, 3 times a day??

Idea: Isnt it possible to buffer whitelisted project for next superblock, if it is missing. Just for one superblock. I am crunching on einstein and missed half of my mag for nearly 3 days.

(I guess that long "lowMAGtime" is caused by the way of actualization of data. 1.day =superblockday: Mag goes half down because of missing project; 2.day: Mag is still down, next superblock is found, project is back; 3 day: client get full Mag back at Midnight in Europe)

mystery time:

  • how did 3 non-whitelisted projects get into the superblock? (and with that pay out "undeserved" GRCs?)

Hello my Name is Mel, I´m working together in a team with the ambition to make blockchain easiert to understand, so we "link blockchain to the world" (therefore our name is blocklink 😊). We want to inform about blockchain and cryptocurrencies, especially Gridcoin. Our last project was the development of gridcoin.io and the Gridcoin teaser video . Did you like it? Then we would appriciate your support for other projects. For instance we succesfully launched our thunderclap this weekend and reached 150.000+ new people wit hthis promotion (https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/60804-visit-us-on-gridcoin-io). If you were part of the 250 people who helped to make this happen, thank you a thousand  times!

At the moment we are working on a video about different blockchain technologies, working out the advantages of Gridcoin in terms efficiency (against POW) and fairness (against POS only, Matthew Effect). Therefore we need a little help. Is there anybody feeling comfortable speaking a text for the video and would like to try it? Here you can find the thread:

Sincerely, Mel
