It's getting a bit more active, but it probably needs a lot of work to make it take off again. There soo many coins around now, it would be hard too compete. ( If you are interrested, I would look into Iota, this one has some exciting development right now )

Dear BTCS users.

I got a problem:
Recently I accidently sended bitcoin to my btcs wallet. It's stuck now and I dont know how to recover it.

I read somewhere that I have to put the private key of the btcs wallet in a btc wallet. But my question is:
How do i find my private key in the btcs wallet program? Have been struggling in the command centre, searched the whole internet, but I cant find a way.

Hope you guys can help me out!

Its great to see that Bitcoin sCrypt is still going strong and people are still mining it.

Moving to a POS hybrid sounds very interesting and exciting for the future of BTCS.

how ppl can mine it if wallet not syncing???

The reason the wallet is not syncing is because of the high difficulty. The blockchain needs more mining power to find a block and sync.

it is not messing your bitcoin wallet dir...

originally v 1.1 was created to share bitcoin wallet,if you starting bitcoin it will open bitcoin wallet with bitcoin addresses,if you opening bitcoin scrypt,it will open wallet with scrypt addresses, after smokeasy take over coin dev coin creates own bitcoin scrypt dir in appdata and will use only script wallet.

In 2014 we changed the wallet directory to /bitcoin-scrypt/ on linux, windows and mac's because of the same concerns that you mention.  Thx
