  1. The Official Cryptocurrency of the Adult Entertainment Industry 5 Plus+ POD (Proof of Developer) Rating INTRODUCTION Titcoin is a crypto-currency that was designed specifically for the $10 billion adult entertainment industry where privacy and anonymity are key consumer factors. Titcoin gives consumers the ability to make discreet micropayments while benefiting businesses with extremely low transaction fees. Website: Twitter: Facebook: Wikipedia: Merchandise: HISTORY Titcoin was originally developed by a group of seasoned professionals with over 75 combined years of experience in digital marketing, finance, business development and technology. Most importantly, the Titcoin Partners were and still are cryptocurrency advocates who saw the adult entertainment industry as the perfect conduit for bringing a mature digital currency into the mainstream. Originally conceived in November 2013, Titcoin has since grown to be the premier digital currency for the adult industry, being a two-time nominee for both the 2015 and 2016 XBiz Award for Alt Payment Services of the Year. On May 27th, 2017 Titcoin was acquired by Joy-Toilet, an digital media group seeking to revolutionize how the general public perceives adult content and the people behind it all. 5. This ethereum-based project could change how we think about digital art IMAGE: CRYPTOPUNK No, not the copyright to the picture. They own the picture itself. You can, of course, download a version, but that's just a copy. Someone owns the original. It is art, and it has an owner. What does that mean in the digital age? That's what the guys at Larva Labs want to find out. The image above is just one of 10,000 pieces of art released last week as part of an experiment called CryptoPunks. What makes this project unique is that each image is tied to a piece of computer code on the blockchain-based Ethereum platform. That means the owner of each piece of art is clear—and that ownership can be transferred. The result is a finite set of artistic expressions that can be bought and sold like any other kind of art. Unlike most art, however, there's nothing to hang on a wall or show off in a building lobby. Will people have any interest in paying for the equivalent of a digital certificate of authenticity? We'll find out. "The whole thing is pretty weird, and that's kind of why we did this," said Matt Hall, who, along with John Watkinson, made CryptoPunks out of their mobile-focused company Larva Labs. "There's like a weird intersection here between these virtual, digital things and an artificial rarity, but a rarity that is real and valuable in some sense." To test this out, Hall and Watkinson released all their art for free. All you have to do is have an Ethereum wallet (and about $0.11 worth of the cryptocurrency ether to cover transaction fees) and you can just claim whichever ones are still available (as of Thursday, there's plenty). Their experiment comes at an interesting time for blockchain, which is a technology that uses computers to create a decentralized and public ledger that can then be used to create extremely secure and permanent transactions and contracts. Blockchain is typically associated with the Bitcoin cryptocurrency, but Ethereum is where the action is. The Ethereum platform lets people build just about anything they want on the blockchain, opening up a whole world of possibilities for programs that can be run securely and publicly—such as CryptoPunks. 9. A Chinese Congresswoman’s suggestion that the Central bank of China regulate Bitcoin trading pushed to talk about the problem of Bitcoin AML with experts in different countries around the world. It is known as Bitcoin Anti-Money Laundering (AML), a technique used to stop people converting illegally obtained funds, to appear as though they have been earned legally. AML mechanisms can be either legal or technical in nature. AML techniques have been applied to Bitcoin exchanges. Does the world of Bitcoin exchanges need new regulation? Should national central banks regulate this field? On March 9th, Wu Xiaolin, former deputy governor of the People’s Bank Of China and a congresswoman for National People’s Congress told a reporter that the Central Bank should be responsible for Bitcoin trading platforms. Is this the right attitude to Bitcoin? You can read the full article here:

  13. Where do you go to discuss Bitcoin? Although there is plenty of room for competition in the Bitcoin world, there seems to be a slight oversaturation of places where digital currency can be discussed. Although there is a growing need for places where Bitcoin discussions are not censored, the number of Bitcoin message board managing to gain any traction is somewhat limited. After all, it is incredibly difficult to topple Bitcointalk, although the forum is doing a good job to draw some attention. However, not every project is so successful, unfortunately.

  24. Let's Talk Premine I'm not against a premine as long as the developer is giving the coins away. Though, it's often hard to prove that the coins are actually given away. I personally think there should be a certain number of coins given to the developer. The reason: that he/she will support the coin with updates and have a desire to see the coin succeed. Have those specific coins mature at a very slow rate. Doing it this way would prevent the developer from cashing out the coins and allowing the cryptocoin to die because he/she doesn't have a vested interest. What are your feeling on developers Premining a new cryptocoin?
