  1. Can someone send me an invite token to the GRC Slack channel?
  2. A few questions

A few questions So, I've been mining for about two months. I've got a mix of of old windows pc's, Linux sbc's, raspberry pi's, and some android phones. I've tried the pool and got ok results. I recently switched to solo mining and am having mixed results. When I first started I installed the wallet and it would crash. I tried on different pc's and had the same problem. So, I tried the pool. It worked ok for a while. I quit trying to get a wallet working and instead used Coinomi. Things were going great until about three weeks ago when suddenly mag started dropping and instead of the 6-7 coins a day, I was getting 2-3. I read that there is a mag limit on the pool of 20,000 per pool. I looked at the pool stats and sure enough, pool-2 was at 20,000. At the same time, I bought a Raspberry Pi 3 to add and it wouldn't let me do anything with it. I could connect it, but couldn't add projects. If the pool has a max of 20,000 mag, how do I keep adding machines? I've got some more sbc's that I want to add. Is there a point to adding more? I suppose I could use a different email address to add them to pool 3, but that seems like a pain. If I'm using Coinomi as my main wallet, is there a benefit to running the GRC wallet? There seems to be some conflict between the official whitelist, the pool project list and gridcoinstats.eu. The official page says that I am supposed to be getting credit for certain projects, but some of those projects are shown on gridcoinstats.eu as not being eligible for credit. I'm assuming that if I am in the pool then the project list they offer should be correct, but they have projects that aren't on the official white list. How is that possible? I've tried reading some of the guides that talk about cpu mining as most of what I have is older hardware and some new sbc's. Knowing that I don't really have gpu's that can do anything meaningful, in regards to the pool, should I tell the pool not to use gpu projects? Any help would be appreciated!
  3. I'm attached to the same projects on other devices that are currently working on tasks. I'll check the project sites when I get home Monday.
  4. Boinc Not Downloading Projects I recently added an Odroid XU4 and 2 Raspberry Pi 3 to my setup. I connected them to grcpool.com. I synced Boinc with grcpool. No tasks downloaded. I removed the grcpool account manager, removed the projects, and reconnected to grcpool and still no new tasks. I have tried updating each task manually as well as trying to sync with grcpool. The manual updates give the scheduler try again in 24 hours message. The sync with grcpool seems to go ok. Any ideas would be welcome. I am leaving first thing Friday morning for a quick weekend trip, so I won't be able to try any fixes until late Monday night. Thanks in advance!
  5. Looking for help with my setup I have used BOINC for a few years on different machines - PC & Android. No problems since I wasn't working towards anything, just wanting to help out the community. The PCs are off the shelf (probably low end) machines. Only one may be able to do some upgrading to at some point. It's an old eMachine. At one point I did sign up for BAM, but never really used it. I recently found GRC and was intrigued. I already had BOINC running on all of my machines, so I installed the GRC client. Sadly, I installed it on an old machine that is not capable of keeping up. I only had around 15 GRC in my wallet before the wallet crashed. I've installed it on 3 pc's it eventually crashes on whatever machine it is on. I've tried installing it on the XU4, but am having no luck. At this point I have just started using Coinomi, but I have no idea how I will receive credit (GRC) in Coinomi from the devices that are connected to BAM. Any help would be appreciated. I like the performance of the XU4 and would like to look at building a cluster of them just to see if I can. So, here's my current setup. Connected to grcpool.com My desktop - a Dell micro desktop. 6. Hello everyone, New to mining GRC. Have been using BOINC for 4-5 years. Would anyone mind donating some coins to help me get started? RyHcfjSbg5mAW7CaB5wjwMk4VtMTkhUQKf Any help would be much appreciated!
