  2. Full Node Average Requirements

To answer my own question: i've rented a cloud VPS with 1 vCore (2.0 mhz), 1 GB RAM and 50 GB SSD and the Node is running smoothly on it.
  3. Greetings! I just wan't to tell you that i've managed to get a full node running on a fresh rented cloud vps, may the node stay alive forever. Location: Frankfurt/Germany Node: nuad.de Costs are around 600 GRC/Month, if you have serious suggestions how to refinance this please tell me. And one question - could someone please tell me the correct PHP syntax for e.g. echo execute('gridcoinresearchd getbalance'); please? I wan't to show some basic node statistics on a web page hosted on the same vps. Thank you! GRC: SCBuWF7YAhrMmSFKCELazk2LVgXXE3N3NS BTC: 1AqNS7JWvZZVMmx1RHtzRc9YZaAqiQ9Wxk
  4. Hi! What are the average (not the minimal) requirements (# of Cores, Core MHz, RAM, SSD/HD Space) to run a full Gridcoin node on a cloud vServer (cloud VPS) please? Thank you.
  5. At first: sorry for my bad english, this isn't my native language. Second Life is the worldwide biggest and oldest completely user created (2003 released) virtual world with 49.847.517 registered Accounts and a Median Daily Concurrency of more then 40.000 Users. I was surprised that there was no information at all about Gridcoin found in Second Life and so i decided to donate some land there for a little Gridcoin Information Office. The office provides basic informations about Gridcoin and Boinc, links to the most important information websites and forums and some live price ticker. You can find the Office here in Second Life: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Jinseok/43/26/66 Land and search entry/advertising costs are approx. 750 GRC/month, in case you wan't to support this little info point or to buy me a coffee please feel free to donate a little bit. After all the hassles Servus Nuad! Sent you some coins! FYI: With "Rebuild Block Chain" --> "Download Blocks" syncing would be much faster.Thank you, unfortunately my wallet was quickly going async again and won't sync, tons of "ERROR: ProcessBlock() : CheckBlock FAILED" and nothing worked, not waiting, rebuilding, deleting everything exept wallet and so on. No payment of any kind have reached me, i guess i'll give up on Gridcoin. Please don't give up. Stay with us please as we need your help. It's true we have challenges however we can and will overcome these. Although Gridcoin is up and running it is still being changed and continuously improved. You will get your coins and there are more to come. Maybe you can let us know where on the internet you went to find out about Gridcoin. Also where did you go when you needed help or answers? Knowing this would be really helpful of you. All the best and have a good day. Ok, i'll try it again... and again... and again, if needed. If i need help i'm using google, mostly with the main keyword in front and the problem in quotes, e.g.: gridcoin "ERROR: ProcessBlock() : CheckBlock FAILED" This way most of the time i'll find the needed answers somewhere out there. Please feel free to send me one or two grc in case it works sooner or later. SEuvj8MRRuu357fc5J196NRNbnoNHVs54y Thank you. Dude, you get your wallet synced, you'll get more than 2 or 3 GRC. After all the problems with the wallet not syncing now i have the "cpid invalid" problem and i can't withdraw the GRC to my wallet which i purchased at C-Cex. I've started helping seti@home at the last millenium when it was a simple, little screensaver and i never had that much problems, gridcoin isn't very user friendly till now.

Hello everyone! At first - sorry for my bad english. I was participating at SETI@Home for ages when ever i had a computer which could handle the load and... as a proud owner of a new computer i started with SETI once again. Then i stumbled over Gridcoin and installed it and ... only 4 days later my wallet finally synchronized and now i'm hoping for some GRC to start. Thank you kindly! SEuvj8MRRuu357fc5J196NRNbnoNHVs54y
