  1. Mine's been out of sync for several days. Not returning to sync state like it used to,
  2. Nevermind, I found this: http://wiki.gridcoin.us/MacOS_Guide#Upgrading Are there any clear detailed instructions for upgrading macOS? These seem to be for windows: http://wiki.gridcoin.us/Wallet_upgrade Do you go here: https://github.com/Git-Jiro/homebrew-jiro/releases to get 3.7.3.0 or to gridcoin.us as on this tweet (attached). I have v3.6.2.0-unk. MacOS 10.13.2 (17C205). I guess I need to upgrade, but is there still an issue with 3.7.0.0? Thanks

I just got everything running. I'm in a pool account. Investor, deciding whether to change. My question, I've got v3.6.2.0-unk of the wallet/client. I see you talking about a version 3.6.3. Should I upgrade to that? How? Follow these instructions: http://wiki.gridcoin.us/Wallet_upgrade ? Thanks from a relative newbie.
  4. Who did the logo? It is great, with the double helix.
  5. The wiki is great, not complaining. I was just trying to remember where I had gotten with this from a few months ago. I did an update and got to "usr/local/Cellar/gridcoin/3.6.0.1" but I see there is another update.
  6. I'm trying to figure out where I left off a few months ago. I ran this: brew install git-jiro/jiro/gridcoin and it installed ok, but I haven't finished up so not sure what I need to do next. Reviewing my notes.
  7. Would you mind adding a paragraph on the wiki about how to check your installation? I've done most or all of this in the past but uncertain of current status. Thanks mucho in advance.
  8. I’m doing an OS X build (macOS Sierra 10.12.5 (16F73) per instructions by aceypilot - BTW, thanks for summarizing it nicely. After brew doctor there was the following message about my python installation: Warning: Python is installed at /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework Homebrew only supports building against the System-provided Python or a brewed Python. In particular, Pythons installed to /Library can interfere with other software installs. - I have Anaconda Navigator installed and sometimes use the pythons (Spyder) other than the system-provided python. Do I need to remove it? If so, will just deleting the Python.framework do it? Will this mess up the rest of my the apps in anaconda? Can I just proceed and see it works anyway?
  9. thanks, will give it a try. Got it worked out. Went to the project home page. I already had an account that I'd forgotten about. thanks
  10. Email is not unique When I clicked on GPUGRID to create an account in BAM!, it says "Email address not unique" - I have signed up with BOINC before and have BOINC Manager installed, maybe that's the problem, what do I do now?. Now I want to mine gridcoin. Instructions say to join one of the projects here that is compatible with bitcoin. I posted in the forum there but no reply yet. Hoping someone might be able to help or point in other direction to solve it. I'm going through the instructions on this page [http://wiki.gridcoin.us/Mining_setup] to get started with gridcoin mining on macOS Sierra 10.12.5. I see you got instructions worked out for the command line the terminal that work. I have xcode and homebrew installed, so now just going back and setting up the wallet and the project, which looks like the first step. thanks in advance for help. I plan to try to update the wiki and work on improving the Wikipedia page on Gridcoin (I'm an experienced WP editor).
  11. HolyTransaction Does anybody know anything about this page: https://holytransaction.com/page/сreate-Gridcoin-wallet-online-register-free-best-exchange-multicurrency-Bitcoin Is it ok to click on the create wallet link? Otherwise where do you start to create a wallet? Can you use an exchange like Poloniex as a wallet or another one that handles gridcoin? thanks
  12. Is this working with the latest macOS Sierra?
  13. There's a book that talks about gridcoin. Not promotional, just about blockchain in general, how it's the wave of the future. Better reference than the websites: https://www.amazon.com/Blockchain-Blueprint-Economy-Melanie-Swan/dp/1491920491
  14. The draft was in the revision history. I don't understand why the article is missing from the draft page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Gridcoin). Did someone decide to delete it to just start over? Here's an older page: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draft:Gridcoin&oldid=717138998
  15. Where is the draft now? THe links go to the WP page on BOINC. Does anyone have a copy of the latest draft?
