It would actually be nice to see this on something like OpenEx.pw.  It also seems very do-able. If it cant be listed there,  the platform could easily be forked to a new exchange. I'd like to see not only BTC/BTC-Scrypt trading, but other coins trading against BTC-Scrypt.

Pushing this coin to exchanges to soon will kill it,damage done allready done to it.Let  ppl with cpu mine it,and it will go up over the time....

Don` t push this coin where bitcoin is,this one was created to revolutionize it.

"When Bitcoin was first created it was mined using just a cpu and only used as a mess about hacking currency but also just to see if we could do it in the first place.

Then can the greed came in, which moved it onto GPU's which is fair enough, just like the internet, it spread and became more or less decentralised and pretty much everyone in this gaming world has a GPU.

Now, with the birth of the ASIC, Bitcoin SHA is not decentralised even for a second and if you believe that, then maybe you shouldn't mine it or think long and hard about it.

ASIC's put the power into the hands of governments, the rich and the powerful (Manufactures). The governments know what they are doing with Bitcoin, to suck you in and then slowly take control.

This is why I created Bitcoin Scrypt, a new Bitcoin currency that I will fully support and is free of ASIC control and once again as Bitcoin should be.

I want this to be the rebirth of Bitcoin once again BACK into the hands of the people."

I will spend all resourceses to support idea.

I don't see how having a means to use the coin will kill it.   Why would people want to mine it if there is no use for it? Bitcoin started out and grew to it's present value because developers created services and ways to use the coin. If you want "the peoples coin" the people need to be able to not just mine it, but use it for something.  If it is to be a coin for the people the word needs to get out to the average Joe. Right now this coin is being mined actively (30mh/s which is not a whole lot, but at fairly low difficulty it results in lots of coins) and lots of coins are in the hands of a few people who have been mining it for a while ,believe me, I've looked at the block explorer and see some addresses that hold a very large amount of coins, how is that different from being centralized?  I'm all for a peoples coin, but that means services, that means usage not hoarding.

The whole coin minting structure is  proving corrupted by human greed. Looking at the lessons of SHA256 BTC. Lets time travel to 2009, A small group of people minted for ages and ages.  No one thought each coin would be worth a 1c or a dollar, It did not matter as it was about the EXPERIMENT. To answer, will the tech system work? Will the man and women on the street understand it?  Will it be used as money? One questions that was never thought off..or anticapted really..

How a coin would not be traded for exchanged of goods and services. But instead when coin is worth 100$, The intial currency use goes out of the window and it become an insane dash to mint coins, mint, cash in for fiat $20, $100, $400, $800. It seems when any coin goes to around 2$ or 10  or 20.LTC, The greed of HUMANS TAKES OVER!! The whole point was for a point were a machanic will accept BTC or fiat. It's his choice. If The machanic will only accept BTC or any coin if the employe will accept BTC and so on and so on.

I know some are saying do things to get on a exchange, and then it can be used. BTC-s should stay with the idea of NO MEGA miners. Dont't do anything for exhanges, as the exchanges adapted to BTC-SHA not the other way around. Long -terms thinking and not a made chassse to cahsin in BTC-s to fiat. IT NOT ABOUT THAT!!

Gov will never help BTC or any coin to catch on, It agenda is about RETARDATION!!, But human beings can choose to accept between them selvies. BANKS AND GOV cant stop that. No Develper can bend human behavour, 21 million, 180 million, 42 coins, this or that block targets. The problem is GREED to turn a coin into fiat. Yen, Dollar, Pound.

Lets not get trapped no learing form BTC-SHA lessons.

What does this mean of BTS-s well, My view goes that yes ppl are mining and some are building postions, but that what you would expect as they take there views that BTC-SHA256 will eventutly be so hard, to mine that the reason to mine it will weaken. To near nothing much. Why should a privater miner mine a coin that does not YEILD a profit. The snag is you have to work for fait, do somthing and get paid. Minting is buy the hardware and let it run.  IT's for some a CRYPTO MINTING MASHINE TO FIAT MACHINEIt's like owning a money tree in my back yard. But right or wrong it is the only way to make the coins in the first place. that is half fair.

It feels very unfair that we have miners is vast minting capabiltiy. Looking at Scrypt by new coins uses, voted by use in new coins. is the right way to go. So why should BTC not normalaise to BTC-s.

As loong as Developers keep to the promise of NO MEGA MINERS or we will change the algo. Don't chasse exchanges and let it mature. Those who minted when a BTC  was worth nothing are not viewed as monsters or bad ppl, but smart dudes that got it. It's the fools who buy a BTC today at $800, How  usefull is a BTC??. Today 1 BTC is equel to 10 Barrels (420 Gallons) of CRUDE OIL. ITS NUTS!!!

well said. think of facebook story. mark waited until it grow so big the IPO was big. why setting and rush to get this on exchange. Better to just get more awareness than trying to tell people. hey, mine this. you might make some money later. i think pushing to an exchange at this stage of the development is too early. Let the coin grow.

I hate it when I read what I wrote before and could of not wait the day to proof read it again. I need a day to see the mistakes. So keen to put my point out. Anyway, The biggest enemy of Crypto is HUMAN GREED, A coin with integerity is worth it's salt against 'Likly Lads' coins. Resolving the BTC-s replacing BTC  dirs is vital Why cant  a dude have both wallets runing on a machine. I view sha256 as a kind of ctl=alt=del mistake.

Keep in mind that any Tom, Dick and Harry coin is minded to death. The reason BTC-s is not is because is likly becuase it's got it right and vested interests in keepin BTC-SHA going.....intime BTC-s  has Branding asuring easy take up by all., We all understand BTC. Bitcoin. The colours and shapes of logos The SHA V Scrypt is a technical thing..to combat INSANE BIG MINERS ADVANTAGE.

    Let it grow,

    Hi everyone,

I love what you have done with the coin.

I thought I would make a quick post as I was near a terminal while promoting Bitcoin Scrypt on my little trip.

I love all the ideas that have been mentioned on here but I was just wondering if one thing could always stay part of this coin.

I would really like the coin ticker to keep BTC in it, at least somewhere, so it could be something like BTCS for example. The reason is if you change it to say BTX, it then sounds and looks like just another Altcoin and not the Bitcoin Scrypt alternative to Bitcoin SHA-256 that this was is meant to be, at least that is what I set out to release.

Anyway, there is my little piece, back on with the coin promotion, any problems I am sure CaptChadd and now Smokeasy can help.

    ------------

    Expect the unexpected.

If a compusive liar tells you he is lying, does that mean he is?

If someone can "overdose" on Heroin, then does that mean there is a correct dose?

Until you see something for yourself, first take it as fact it does not exist, until you can prove yourself wrong.

Just go to your backup that you made of your computer and grab the wallet.dat file.  You did make a backup of your computer right?
